Just got married!

Well Well Well!! Long time no talk… I have been overwhelmed with wedding planning and the process of getting married!! Finally I am done with all of the stuff that goes along with the processes and can enjoy my life with my new WIFE!! I am very excited for us and can’t wait to have adventures with her!

On a art note, last month I joined a collaborative studio in downtown Tulsa called the loose leaf gallery. Unfortunately because of getting hitched I haven’t moved in yet so one month down and no studio. However!! Tomorrow, Wednesday, and some of Thursday i will be moving my computer and some other artwork/supplies down.

Round two for grad school is coming up this year and I have set my goals high! So i need to start really working on getting a very strong portfolio together and hustling to do this damn thing. I have some small prints and other pieces that I didn’t use while applying last year, hope they like what I do. I WANT TO TEACH! Anyway stay tuned for photo’s of the studio and watch as the portfolio grows! Thanks!

Maybe something new?

So I will be getting my bike back into shape this evening and taking it for a spin! I really miss riding it, and I desperately need to get into shape! I have been feeling a bit under the weather the last few weeks, I blame it on inactivity! I am working on getting things back in shape! Angee moved in this last weekend and things are working out well! I think I can concentrate on me/us more and less about other things out of my control, my stress levels need to subside A LOT! Working out and being active will help tremendously! It always has in the past. The wedding planning is going VERY well. We are actually almost done with it all! Very exciting!

I think I have found out what I will write about on my blog! I have been thinking a lot about these kinds of things. I’ve also been reading a lot of other peoples stuff and figured out these; 1. I’m not famous, and until I am people don’t want to read about me. 2. I don’t want to critique design because I’m not that qualified to do so, and I don’t think it would be fun to have people mad at me. 3. I’m not a foodie. So I have concluded that I would like to maybe interview artists in there studio and post photo’s? I would probably go to one studio a month and one art show a month. At the art show I would talk about my favorite pieces, not critique anything just talk about them openly. The interviews would not be a regular interview like, “what is you inspiration?” but more like “Why do you do this, instead of becoming a working slob.” I want them to be more personal, more in depth about who they are as an artist and what makes them tick. How they grew up and where they first found out this is who they are. Maybe even release a pod cast of the conversation. It’s an idea.
